Halloween at the Clog Palace
Photographs
I think it's kind of funny that most of the photographs that I possess
of the Clog Palace are of cloggers in Halloween costumes. These were pre-digital
camera days. Nowadays, I take photographs almost everywhere I go. I make
hundreds of shots, even multiples of the same scene, because I have a
couple of two-gigabyte memory cards.
In the 1980s, however, I usually only brought out the film camera when
there was a special reason, like Halloween at the Clog Palace. An event
like this at the Clog Palace had an even more special energy, and I hope
you can imagine this from this set of pictures. Dancing and laughing with
one's friends is among the best possible times a person can have.

If anyone has better photographs of the inside of
Captain White's, the Mandarins, The Chicken Place, or any of the
other venues that they would be willing to lend to me, please let
me know. I would love to scan them for this web site. |
